Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I am planning a career in glamour photography and expect to become a top model, although I am not yet 18 years old. Should I Apply?
A. All our models must be at least 18 years old. However, you are welcome to contact us shortly before your 18th birthday.

Q. I would like to discuss my options with you before I apply. What is the best way to contact you?
A. We are happy for you to contact us by telephone, e-mail or post. You can find our contact details on the Contacts page.

Q. How long does a shoot take and how much will I earn?
A. A session typically takes about an hour, from which we expect at least 100 photographs. If you are inexperienced it may take a little longer, although you are still welcome! We usually pay between £100 and £200, depending on appearance, age and experience.

Q. What happens if I am not comfortable with some of the poses you want?
A. Models are never required to do anything they are not comfortable with - it doesn't produce good photographs! With so many possibilities to choose from, we always shoot a set that works for both parties.

Q. Can I bring someone with me to the photography session?
A. Yes you can. It is not unusual for a model to bring a boyfriend, parent or friend with them when working with us for the first time. Note however that anyone you bring will not be allowed to watch the session, so we ask them to wait in the room next door.

Q. What clothes will I need?
A. The photographer will discuss with you the clothes and any other props you will need to bring in advance of the session. This will depend on the type of shoot we are planning, so it is important that you wear/bring the clothes we ask for. Your clothes (including underwear) must of course be clean and smart. Failure to follow this instruction will cause delays and the session may have to be rescheduled for another time. You will also need to bring your own grooming products such as make-up, hairbrush and accessories.

Q. What type of photos should I send with my application form?
A. We need one or more photographs that will allow us to assess your figure so that we can decide how to make the most of your attributes as a model. A full-length topless photograph is ideal. We also need one passport-type picture. All photographs must, of course, be recent - we don't need to know what you looked like three years ago!

Q. Why do you want to know about my previously published work?
A. We regularly discuss with publishers the type of pictures and models they are currently looking for. An editor may be keen to publish more images of a particular model, but the setting and poses must be different to those used previously. You must supply accurate information (and up-to-date photos) so that we can select the right publications.
